Empty Set Dollar is an algorithmic stablecoin that is soft pegged to $1. The system is designed to maintain its peg by autonomously expanding supply when above $1 and by incentivizing voluntary supply contractions when below $1. Note that the price of ESD can fluctuate above or below $1, given that the system is designed to maintain a soft peg.
