Bonk

BONK was first launched on the Solana blockchain as an SPL token. It is now available on multiple chains including Ethhereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, BSC, Base, Avalanche, Injective, Aptos and Sui.

BONK is a community-driven token with secured integrations across various DeFi protocols in multiple verticals, including:

• DeFi: BONK can be used for staking, liquidity provision, and yield farming.
• Gaming: BONK has been integrated with 25+ games as a form of in-game currency. 
• NFTs: Collectors can exchange or mint NFTs for BONK.
• Governance: BONK holders can join the BONK DAO to vote on funding decisions.

With a fixed supply distributed across the ecosystem, BONK implements a token burn mechanism to maintain scarcity, stabilize the token's price, and incentivize long-term holding.

BONKbot is a Telegram trading bot built for Solana, where users can deposit a balance to use for trades, and then paste a token address into their chat to have the bot automatically purchase the token, without needing to set slippage or repeatedly submit the trade.

BONK can be deposited through the BONKrewards portal. BONK is locked for a fixed duration in order to earn a percentage of ecosystem fees, with a bonus multiplier for committing to longer lockup periods.

BONK was launched on December 25, 2022, as a celebration of the Solana community. To promote fair distribution and community engagement, 50% of the total supply was airdropped to various participants within the Solana ecosystem, including:

• Solana NFT projects: 20% of the total supply was allocated to 40 active Solana NFT projects, representing 296,000 individual NFTs.
• OpenBook traders: 15% was distributed to early traders on OpenBook, a decentralized exchange on Solana.
• Artists and collectors: 10% was designated for artists and collectors of 1/1 art on Solana.
• Solana developers: 5% was allocated to developers within the Solana ecosystem.
