FAQ

An AI agent is a software entity designed to perform specific tasks autonomously. These agents use artificial intelligence to make decisions, interact with users, or even with other agents within a digital ecosystem. Examples include virtual customer service bots, recommendation systems, and game characters that respond to player actions.

AI agents operate by using algorithms and models that allow them to understand data, make decisions, and act toward specific goals. They can analyze data inputs, learn from past interactions, and adapt their responses over time.

Virtual Protocol integrates AI agents as core components of its ecosystem, leveraging them to create an on-chain economy where users can interact with, co-own, or even develop unique AI-driven virtual agents. Each AI agent operates as an independent entity within the protocol, offering services or interactions to users, such as automated responses, data analysis, or entertainment. Users engage with these agents through the VIRTUAL token, paying for services or inferences directly on-chain.

VIRTUAL has a total supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens with no expected future inflation. The distribution plan is as follows:

  • Public Distribution: 60% (600,000,000 tokens) are now in public circulation.
  • Liquidity Pool: 5% (50,000,000 tokens) are set aside for the liquidity pool.
  • Ecosystem: 35% (350,000,000 tokens) is dedicated to the ecosystem treasury.

The Virtual Protocol project is supported by a multidisciplinary team, including AI developers, blockchain engineers, and metaverse enthusiasts. You can see the full list of core contributors here.
